Meetings & Minutes

The Summit Booster Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the SHS Library/Media Center. All Summit parents, staff, and students are welcome to attend. Meetings are a great place to meet other parents who are interested in helping our school and to learn more about the opportunities to do so. Boosters welcomes you to join in, share your ideas and help out where you see fit. Register with the Boosters to receive notifications of the upcoming meeting information and agenda. The typical meeting format begins with a Meet & Greet Social at 5:15pm which features refreshments from a community business. This is a great opportunity to connect with other parents, Booster members and the Booster Board. All attendees receive a free raffle ticket and a chance to win a donated item provided by a local business. The Boosters help promote local businesses that often support our school. Contact the Boosters if you would like us to promote your business too.

At 5:30pm, we listen to Grant Requests and presentations from the teachers, coaches, or student groups who are requesting funding for equipment or other needs. To learn more about making a grant request, please read our Grants page.

General Business starts at 6:30, SHS Administration update, discussion of past and future Booster events and voting on the proposed grants.

Our Guest Speaker takes the floor at 6:30pm. At select meetings we invite a faculty or community member to address a relevant, interesting topic. The speaker's presentation is usually followed by a short question and answer session.

The meetings conclude with drawing the winner of the raffle. Must be present at the drawing to win!

Occasionally the meeting location or time may change so stay up-to-date by registering with the Booster Club.
