The Summit Boosters have two yearlong volunteer needs:
1) staffing concessions (one of our biggest fundraisers) and
2) providing food for our monthly staff appreciation luncheons (one of our most appreciated contributions to the Summit faculty!)
Our biggest volunteer need is in concessions. The Summit concession stands are run by the Booster Club and generate a significant portion of our funds. Volunteering in concessions is a fun and easy way to contribute while meeting other Summit parents and interacting with our student body. We operate both an outdoor stand and an indoor stand, and keeping them open for every sporting event requires many volunteers!
While volunteering in concessions, you can earn money for your favorite Summit program through the Booster Bucks program. When you sign up for a shift, indicate which Summit program will benefit from your time worked, and this money is distributed at the end of each month. Booster Bucks add up! Many teams and clubs have generated significant funds through this program.
Your volunteer time not only benefits the fundraising efforts of the Booster Club, but directly rewards your favorite Summit programs. The Booster Club is a non-profit, so community service hours can also be earned with your volunteer time. Click on Booster Bucks link, above, to access the sign up form and get started.
The Booster Club provides a teacher luncheon for our Summit faculty on the first Friday of the month. Our teachers work hard for our students and we love to show our support of their efforts by providing them with good food. Click on the First Friday Lunch link above to access this month's sign up form and see where you can help out. The teachers love their lunch and appreciate the Boosters for providing it.Other Volunteer Opportunities
The Summit Booster Club offers a variety of opportunities to work with our students and staff and get involved with our school throughout the year. Please take a moment to fill out the registration form either online or print and send it in. Boosters will then be able to contact you via email when there is a specific volunteer opportunity in which you've shown interest. You can also volunteer your ideas when you register or attend a Booster meeting! We are always looking for ways to improve our Summit community.
Remember--even though our teenagers are ready for more independence, their school still needs our help.
